Hello!  I am Nancy Rowe.
Join me on the journey.

Over the past thirteen years, my life has been a journey of learning and caregiving. Transitioning from teaching to joining my husband's home care business in Connecticut marked the beginning of a profound chapter. With a keen interest in dementia care, I immersed myself in training sessions, devoured literature, and attended seminars by leading experts. This quest for knowledge culminated in my certification as a Dementia Practitioner.

Utilizing this expertise, I diligently trained caregivers in best practices, driven by the desire to provide the level of care I would entrust to my own mother. Then, life took a personal turn when my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Witnessing her journey reinforced the importance of dignity and respect in care.

Two years ago, my husband and I embarked on a new chapter in Florida, seeking respite from the cold. Keen to stay engaged, I delved into part-time work as an activities assistant, relishing the joy it brought. Eager for deeper involvement, I transitioned to supervising activities in a memory care unit, where I formed deep connections with residents and their families.

Now, an exciting opportunity has emerged to extend my impact further on the dementia journey, allowing me to continue supporting and uplifting individuals and families navigating this challenging path.

Education is the most important thing in dementia care!

I would love to provide quality education for every person working with anyone with any form of dementia-- from nurses, executive directors, CNA's, housekeepers, dining staff, life enrichment personnel and even volunteers.  Home care aides, hospice personnel, ER staff can also benefit.  I want anyone on the dementia journey to always receive the best care and live in the most enriching environments.

As a CDP; CADDCT; and CDCM and over 13 years' experience working with adults with all forms of dementia I have created 2-hour workshops that are quite informative.

I also offer the Alzheimers' Disease and Dementia Care all day seminar which provides in depth instruction of best practices of dementia care.  This seminar is also the path to receive Certified Dementia Practitioner certification through the NCCDP.  (check their website to see if you qualify www.nccdp.org)  I offer this all day seminar in FL, RI, CT, MA and KS.  it is also offered online through the NCCDP website.

I know I have something to offer your organization.  Call me and we can discuss your needs.
